MGT Awareness Day
We will be holding a My Greatest Treasure "Awareness Day" at the Eliot Boat Basin, which will be our primary shooting location.
The event will be held on [ T.B.D. ] and will include:
- Food & Refreshments for all
- Auditions
- Filming of test scenes
- A scene writing contest where you can have a chance to write a scene for the movie.
- A "What can a silver dollar be used for" contest. If you win, your concept will be written into the screenplay and you'll receive a credit in the movie.
- 50/50 Fundraising Raffle
- Donations Table
- Props/Locations Table [read more]
So What's It All Mean?
Well, food and refreshments are just that . . . at least until we run out! The rest? Okay . . . KrowdoG casting director will be on site taking applications for all roles. If you signup in advance, there are slots open for screen tests. Email us for info on how to sign up.
After screen tests are completed for the day, a couple of actors will be selected to participate in a few test shots/scenes we have planned around the location.
Throughout the afternoon, manned tables will be setup where you can learn more about the film, actors can leave headshots and contact info for future auditions, and where you can learn how to donate locations and/or props to be used in the film (in which case if we come to an agreement you will receive a credit in the film and two tickets to the premiere!).
